Licensed Professional Counselor

Katie earned a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri St. Louis and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Miami University of Ohio. As an experienced licensed counselor who is driven by a passion for improving the lives of others, she works diligently to provide a custom approach to therapy to meet her client’s needs. Her goals are to help individuals discover their true identities and God-given gifts, potential, and purposes in life. She recognizes that it is by His strength and power that real healing takes place.

She has spent a significant amount of time working on helping individuals break free from anxiety, feelings of low self-worth, anxiety/depression, ADHD, behavior disorders in children and adolescents, job loss, grief, abuse, and restoring relationships. She specializes in working with children, couples, and also helping individuals heal who have experienced trauma as she is trained in EMDR.

In addition, she gained certification in Early Childhood & Special Education and has worked over a decade with special needs children as well as a career coach, helping individuals who have experienced a recent job loss.
