Licensed Professional Counselor

Will earned a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. His specialty areas of study included clinical mental health counseling, couples and family counseling, addictions, and play therapy. He is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor.

Will has nearly a decade of diverse experience in the mental health field prior to attaining his PLPC. He enjoys working with people of all ages and presenting issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, abuse, self-worth, trauma, marriage and family, and OCD.

Will’s counseling style is heavily influenced by his faith in Jesus and the Word of God. He uses a Biblical approach to counseling, utilizing various modalities such as Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He believes that Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor and that He guides us into all truth. His calling is to see people delivered, healed, growing closer to the Lord, and equipped as they walk in the abundant life that Jesus provides. His approach allows the Holy Spirit to move in counseling sessions to highlight wrong thinking, false identity, and lies the enemy has planted and replace them with identity in Christ. Ephesians 6:12 tells us that we wrestle not against people, but against principalities and powers of darkness. Will believes that understanding the truth of this scripture is essential to addressing the struggles people face so they can walk in true and lasting freedom.

In his downtime, Will enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He is an Advanced Open Water scuba diver and has logged dives all over the world with his dad. He loves camping, skiing, and spending time outdoors.
