AMY ELFRINK, MA, PLPC, NCC

Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor

Amy earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University.  Counseling is a second career for Amy as she first received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1991 from Southeast Missouri State University and worked as a CPA for several years before staying home to raise her three children. During this time, she served in various capacities in ministry including leading Celebrate Recovery and working with women who struggle with addiction.  She is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor.

Amy has a passion for people who are hurting and desires to walk beside them in their struggle. She utilizes a Cognitive Behavior approach to therapy accompanied by Biblical truth and direction. Some of her specialty areas include working with marriages, trauma healing, and ultimately equipping people to find hope through a relationship with Jesus. This is where she believes true freedom is found.

Amy has been married to the love of her life for 30 years and enjoys outdoor activities together along with serving at church, and spending time with her family. She and her husband have three adult children and are almost empty nesters as their youngest lives at home while attending college.
