Her approach to counseling incorporates therapeutic knowledge with scriptural teaching and Christian principles, allowing clients to explore areas of concern in a Christ centered environment. I have overcome the world.” Therapeutic approaches used in session include Person Centered paired with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic theory. Sessions with Tressia include establishing therapeutic goals, learning coping skills to manage overwhelming emotions, and empathically exploring the meaning and effects of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions on the client’s presenting concern.
